Job summary

Kulicke & Soffa Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced engineer to define test requirements and develop automated and manual electrical testing systems for PCBAs, modules and assemblies.

You will diagnose electrical failures, support production, and develop manufacturing inspection protocols to improve yield and reliability. You will also contribute to design changes and equipment upgrades, ensure fixtures and work instructions are ready for manufacturing, and train assembly technicians while

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics, or related field).
• Typically 5 or more years of related experience.
• Strong statistical analysis skillset and problem solving abilities on electrical modules.
• Team player capable of collaborating across stakeholders and able to work under pressure during downtime.
• Experience in tester development using LabVIEW / TestStand on bonding processes.
• Familiarity with PLC programming (SICK) and Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
• Knowledge of Python coding is advantageous.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to think outside the box and innovative thinking.
• Team player with a cross functional mindset.
• Able to work 2nd shift.

Qualifications:

• Experience in tester development using Labview / Teststand on bonding processes (Wiring Bonding, Die-Bonding or Thermocompression Bonding or Flip Chip).
• Familiarity with PLC programming (SICK, etc) and Industrial communication protocol (Modbus, Ethernet/IP) will be required.
• Knowledge of Python coding will be advantageous.
