Position: Senior Operations Manager
Location: Redhill
Employment Type: Permanent (Open to Contract-to-Perm)
Salary: Up to $8,000/month
Team Size: 9–10 staff
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM / 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Fully On-site)
Interview Process: 2 rounds

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

• Lead a team responsible for pre-production, planning, label production, manufacturing, and packaging of clinical trial supplies.
• Manage team performance and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Align operational strategies with company goals and support overall site performance.

Operational Management

• Oversee day-to-day production operations in compliance with GMP and EHS requirements.
• Manage resource allocation using S&OP data and production forecasts.
• Conduct timely technical review of batch records and resolve workflow issues.
• Partner with QA, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams to achieve delivery goals.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Ensure operational readiness for regulatory and client audits.
• Manage CAPA implementation following quality incidents.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices.

Performance and Reporting

• Track and report KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Support financial and operational planning, including monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
• Present regular performance updates to senior management.

People Management

• Conduct coaching, mentoring, and career development for team members.
• Manage staffing, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
• Oversee training compliance and operational competency within the team.

Requirements

• Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing production or packaging teams in a GMP-certified facility.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial supply chains and packaging operations.
• Familiarity with quality audits, CAPA management, and process validation.

Additional Skills

• Proficiency in operational systems such as Clinicopia, JDE, or SupplyFlex.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
