JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly proactive and experienced Senior Operation Executive responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day warehouse activities within a Life Science and Healthcare warehouse operation. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, inventory control, dispatch of goods and Value‑Added Services (VAS). The role will need to manage and support a warehouse team, ensuring operations are carried out efficiently, comply with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) procedures and company standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team‑oriented attitude, delivering operational performance that achieves a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.

This role will work closely with the Warehouse Team and Operation Manager to ensure all customer and operational requirements are effectively met.

Operations Management
  • Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities, including inbound, storage, outbound and Value‑Added Services (VAS)
  • Ensure accurate receiving and timely dispatch of goods
  • Supervise and support the warehouse team to ensure proper execution of activities
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock take, and reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) standards
  • Generate system reports to support and optimize warehouse activities
  • Liaise with internal departments and suppliers as needed
  • Support process improvements and implement best practices in warehouse operations
  • Handle documentation such as delivery orders, invoices and stock movement reports
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and support
  • Handle performance or conduct issues in collaboration with the immediate superior and/or Operation Manager
  • Previous warehouse experience in Life Science and Healthcare is an advantage but not essential
Customer Relationship Management
  • Act as the ground operational member, ensuring daily operation activities are executed smoothly, in accordance with business objectives
  • Act as the key operational contact with customers and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication, quick issue resolution, and alignment on operation matters
Cost & Resource Management
  • Drive operational productivity, continuous improvement efficiency and cost control initiatives with the operation team
  • Work with the operation team on resource planning to better optimize use of resources for daily operation
  • Support business planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
Stakeholder & People Management
  • Build strong working relationships with internal operation team members and customers
  • Manage staffing, training, and performance of operational teams
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and delivering performance
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, service quality, and safety
  • Ensure documentation and SOPs are updated and aligned with audit requirements
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits (quality, regulatory, and customer)
Qualification & Experience
  • Minimum diploma or certificate in supply chain, logistics, or operation management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment in a team‑leader role
Key Competencies
  • Good physical fitness, ability to lift and move heavy items using appropriate equipment
  • Good communication and attention to detail and accuracy in warehouse operations
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS), but not essential
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work in various shifts including weekends and public holidays, if required
  • Forklift licence, if any
  • Experience in using material handling equipment (MHE), but not essential
