Job summary

Beca is seeking a Senior Mechanical & Electrical Resident Engineer to lead on-site supervision for a major Singapore project. You will manage a team of Resident Technical Officers, coordinate with the Client and Consultant teams, and ensure quality and timely delivery during construction.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of related experience, with familiarity in local codes and hospital/healthcare project environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Registered Resident Engineer with IES an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Resident Engineer or in M&E site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the M&E Resident Technical Officers to monitor, supervise and inspect works per Client/Consultant instructions.
• Plan supervision rosters aligned with contractor schedules and ensure continuous site supervision.
• Perform hands-on supervision and step in as RTO to maintain operational continuity.
• Check drawings and discrepancies before installation works; review shop drawings and conduct site inspections.
• Coordinate with the Consultant Team for issue resolution and maintain proper site records for audit and handover.
