Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced oncology nurse to assess patients, develop and evaluate personalised nursing plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care across settings.

You will supervise junior staff, participate in education and quality initiatives, and maintain competency in oncology procedures while delivering compassionate patient care across care settings.

Qualifications

• Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) as a Registered Nurse.
• 3–4 years of post-registration nursing experience, preferably in Oncology or related specialty.
• Able to manage clinically complex patients and work independently across different care settings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement and evaluate individualised nursing care plans.
• Provide prescribed nursing care, assist with clinical procedures and monitor patients’ progress.
• Recognise clinical deterioration and escalation of treatment as required.
• Provide patient and caregiver education to promote self-care and continuity of care.
• Coordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary healthcare team and ensure effective handovers across care settings.
• Maintain competency in oncology-related procedures and escalation protocols.
• Participate in patient education, service improvement and quality initiatives.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior nurses and students where required.
• Participate in nursing education, research, quality improvement and innovation activities.
• Maintain clinical competencies and undertake continuous professional development.
