Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Officer to contribute to the efficient operation and strategic objectives of United Overseas Bank Ltd. This role involves overseeing key processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting team development within a dynamic financial environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute daily operational tasks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and present reports to management on operational metrics, project status, and key initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant banking regulations, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
  • Act as a point of contact for complex inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, providing expert guidance and resolution.
  • Participate in and lead project initiatives aimed at process enhancement, system upgrades, or new product/service launches.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing work environment.
  • Identify and mitigate potential operational risks, escalating issues to higher management when necessary.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies and objectives.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
