Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPC registration.
• Postgraduate qualifications in relevant clinical specialty preferred.
• 3 years of relevant work experience and AHPC registration preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; supervisory and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and manages patients referred for occupational therapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans, applying specialised occupational therapy knowledge and skills.
• Reports to referring doctor and other members of the medical team.
• Documents patient occupational therapy records accurately.
• Charges patients accurately.
• Updates individual performance statistical records monthly.
• Collaborates with other healthcare members and assists in multidisciplinary case conferences.
