    Oversee ward rounds, facilitate family conferences, and coordinate quality‑assurance audits.

    Conduct performance reviews, chair cross‑functional projects, and deliver in‑service training sessions.

    Work alongside department heads, allied‑health partners, and volunteers to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Data‑Driven Leadership
    Analyse incident and infection trends to inform quarterly quality‑assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Schedule staffing, design workflows, and enforce safety protocols.
  • Case Management: Join ward rounds and family meetings to identify needs, resolve issues, and gather feedback.
  • On‑Call Leadership: Provide rapid escalation support and ensure timely resolutions outside regular hours.
  • Quality & Reporting: Track KPIs, compile incident/infection reports, and lead internal audits.
  • Team Development: Host monthly ward huddles, conduct appraisals, and promote continuous learning.
  • Community Engagement: Represent nursing on hospital committees and support volunteer outreach.

Who You Are

  • Qualified: Bachelor’s in Nursing (SNB‑recognised) and/or Post‑Basic Nursing qualification.
  • Experienced: At least 5 years of inpatient nursing experience with supervisory duties.
  • Skilled Leader: Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
  • Tech‑Comfortable: Proficient in MS Office and confident interpreting data.
