Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Security Engineer with a strong application development background to design, build, and implement secure IAM solutions focusing on secrets management across enterprise environments.

You will drive secure integration of applications and platforms, provide operational support for highly resilient systems, and partner with development, DevOps, risk and security teams to embed robust IAM controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in application security, security engineering, software development, or IAM.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in secrets management solutions, machine/non-human identity, PKI or service-to-service authentication.
• Strong software engineering capability in Java and scripting languages for security tool development and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containers and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proven experience in secure solution design and production support for enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, operate, and continually improve enterprise security solutions for IAM involving secrets management across various deployment environments.
• Engineer and operate highly available, secure platforms for secrets management and service-to-service authentication.
• Configure, manage, and support secrets management tools, including policy management, audit logging, backup, and DR.
• Integrate applications, APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native platforms with IAM services using secure patterns.
• Develop automation, tooling, APIs, and infrastructure as code to streamline secure onboarding.
• Provide operational support for security platforms including monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, cloud, risk, audit, and security teams to embed IAM controls into SDLC.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and evidence to support audit readiness.
