Job summary

ENGGSOL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Engineer to ensure resilient and secure network environments and IT systems, enabling uninterrupted business operations. You will proactively manage IT infrastructure, resolve incidents swiftly, and continually improve system performance and security.

Key responsibilities include root-cause analysis, maintenance of servers and network devices, incident and problem management, capacity planning, and enforcing security controls, with 24x7 standby as needed.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of IT infrastructure management and/or information security experience.
• Deep expertise in IT infrastructure components including hardware, software, OS, networking and security.
• Proven track record in IT operations management with patching and monitoring.
• Strong proficiency in Windows and RHEL, network devices, and related services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Vendor management experience and proactive learning mindset.
• OT environment experience is an advantage.
• Ability to support round-the-clock standby duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead root-cause analysis initiatives for complex incidents and escalate as needed.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on servers, network devices, and OS.
• Execute incident and problem management to restore services within SLAs.
• Advise clients on performance improvements, capacity planning, and optimization.
• Implement security controls including patch management and access control.
• Adhere to Change and Release Management for patches/updates.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, SOPs, and incidents.
• Coordinate with client teams and service providers for audits and DR exercises.
• Communicate risks and impacts clearly to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate autonomous work, prioritization, and ownership.
• Provide 24x7 standby support as required.
