Role: Senior Network Security Implementation Engineer

A global leader in ICT solutions and services is seeking a Senior Network Security Implementation Engineer to join its team in Singapore. The organisation delivers large-scale digital and infrastructure transformation projects across the region, with a strong focus on secure enterprise networking.

Role Summary

The incumbent will deliver billable network engineering services with a strong emphasis on secure LAN and cybersecurity technology implementation. This includes designing, configuring, testing, and deploying solutions for enterprise customers, while ensuring the highest technical quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure network solutions leveraging industry best practices.
• Translate customer requirements into architecture and delivery plans, particularly around firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other enterprise security technologies.
• Take end-to-end ownership of technical delivery—from planning and configuration to testing and commissioning.
• Provide Tier-1 escalation support during deployment; identify and raise service or solution enhancements when needed.
• Identify potential business opportunities within customer accounts and new prospects.
• Support tender participation and proposal development, including assisting with service scope and SLAs.
• Present technical solutions to clients in both structured and informal formats with minimal supervision.
• Maintain familiarity with emerging technologies and trends relevant to network and security solutions.
• Deliver consistently high-quality technical services and maintain strong customer satisfaction.

Relevant Diploma/ degree with ~3–5 years of presales and/or network implementation experience.

• This role is only open to candidates currently based in Singapore.
• CCNP is required; CCIE is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, communication protocols, and diagnostic tools.
• Hands‑on deployment experience with cybersecurity platforms such as Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, McAfee IDS/IPS, F5, and similar.
• Solid capabilities in routing/switching (e.g. BGP/OSPF, QoS, HA/virtualisation features) and firewall technologies (e.g. NAT, VPN, ACLs).
• Exposure to next‑generation networking and security technologies such as SD‑WAN/SDN, ACI/NSX, IDS/IPS, load balancing, MPLS, unified communications, and strong grounding in OSI/TCP‑IP.
