A technology services company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Singapore to design, manage, and optimize large-scale MPLS and enterprise network infrastructures. The ideal candidate possesses strong hands-on experience in routing protocols and network security, with at least 5 years in a similar role. Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with IT teams to support operational requirements. Relevant certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are an advantage.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in MPLS and Enterprise Network Infrastructure to design, manage, and optimize large-scale networks. The role involves hands‑on configuration, troubleshooting, security compliance, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure high availability and performance.
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise MPLS and Enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls).
Monitor network performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
Implement network changes, upgrades, and optimizations in accordance with industry best practices.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to support operational and business requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, processes, and incidents.
Ensure compliance with network security policies and standards.
Manage servers supporting network devices and ensure Windows patching and updates.
Provide technical consultancy for onboarding systems to the MPLS network infrastructure.
Networking & MPLS
Strong hands‑on experience with Switching: VLAN, STP, Trunking, Port Security, etc.
Expertise in Routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP.
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience managing large-scale MPLS networks (P/PE/CE routers, VRF, VRF route leaking/fusion).
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or equivalent enterprise networking devices.
Security & Firewalls
Working knowledge of firewalls: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point, or similar.
Strong understanding of network security concepts such as IDS/IPS, VPNs, Zero Trust.
Hands‑on experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), and F5 Load Balancers.
Systems & Monitoring
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and IP addressing.
Experience with monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, WhatsUp Gold (WUG), Veeam Backup, SyslogNG.
Knowledge of Windows Server and Hyper‑V management (AD, CA, SMTP, DNS, WSUS, etc.).
Experience with Windows server and workstation patching.
Cloud (Good to Have)
Exposure to cloud networking and VPC management in AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, NSE, etc.) are an advantage.
