Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Network Architect to design and implement robust network and security architectures. The successful candidate will lead complex projects, troubleshoot critical issues, and provide mentorship. To qualify, a minimum of 7 years of experience in network design and deployment, along with strong knowledge in routing, switching, and firewall technologies, is required. Qualifications

• Minimum 7-12 years of experience in network design/deployment.
• Current CCNP qualified; CCIE is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge in Routing and switching.
• Experience in wireless technologies.
• Good knowledge of Data centre technologies.

• Lead end-to-end project execution for large deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical network issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable network and security architectures, including routers, switches, wireless systems, and firewalls.
• Lead end-to-end project execution, from racking and stacking to successful delivery on large and mega-scale deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical network and security issues during rollouts.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure timely, seamless execution.
• Maintain clear, detailed technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Conduct client handovers and internal knowledge transfers.
• Provide mentorship and lead best-practice sharing sessions.
• Act as the go-to expert during outages and emergencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7-12 years of experience in network design/deployment.
• Current with minimal CCNP qualified with related professional experience, CCIE would be an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge in Routing and switching, eg. BGP, OSPF, Multicast, VSS, spanning tree, MPLS L3VPN.
• Experience in wireless. Cisco WLC, Aruba, Prime, MSE/CMX, DNAC, Ekahau Site Survey tool
• Data centre technologies, eg. Cisco Nexus VDC, VPC, FEX, VXLAN, ACI.
• Good knowledge of Firewall technologies eg. IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS, Cisco ASA, Firepower, Fortigate,
• Good knowledge in network access control(NAC) product, eg Aruba Clearpass Policy Manager, Cisco ISE.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Good presentation skillset
