Job summary

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is seeking a software developer with strong .NET background to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications. You will work on web applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET and modern front-end tech, collaborating with users to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of development experience, familiarity with MS SQL Server and REST-based APIs, and a solid understanding of design patterns.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma in related field preferred.
• Experience: 3 years development experience and strong fundamentals in requirements specification, design, coding and testing.
• Other prerequisites: Proficient in .Net technologies including VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, CSS3, Ajax, Entity Framework, DevExpress, XPO.
• Familiar with software design patterns and building responsive web applications.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server and REST-based APIs (JSON, OData, Web API) and web services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that application and/or infrastructure projects are managed and administered according to corporate standards and delivered on scope, time, and cost.
• Assist with timely, accurate business designs to implement new/modified applications.
• Collaborate with users to identify requirements and resolve problems to maintain efficiency.
• Provide analytical support and propose changes to systems and processes to improve effectiveness.
• Monitor and recommend changes to improve reliability, scalability, security and performance of existing systems.
• Provide technical training and be conversant with present and future systems and their impact on business.
• Communicate effectively with end users and provide timely progress reports on projects.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
