Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a senior software engineer to validate and coordinate software deliveries, review releases and deployment requirements, and support microservices on OpenShift. You will lead deployments across development, SIT, UAT, and production, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to design discussions with internal teams and the vendor.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience with .NET Framework/.NET Core, REST APIs, microservices and frontend tech (AngularJS/ReactJS), plus

Qualifications

8–12 years of overall software development experience.
Hands-on development with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
REST APIs and service-oriented development.
Microservices architecture and implementation.
IIS configuration, hosting, and troubleshooting.
Frontend development with AngularJS or ReactJS.
Microfrontend architecture and implementation.
Frontend build, packaging, configuration, deployment.
OpenShift deployment and support for microservices/microfrontends.
Containers and container-based deployments.
DevOps and source code management tools: Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
Build, packaging, deployment and release processes.
Liquibase for database deployment/versioning.
Strong experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle).
Kafka topics and message flow troubleshooting.
Control-M or similar scheduling for batch jobs.
Application configuration, logging, monitoring, and environment management.

Responsibilities

Validate and assess software deliveries from vendor.
Review release contents, changes, scripts, and deployment requirements.
Support source code management and release branching.
Coordinate deployments across environments (dev, SIT, UAT, prod).
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot microservices/microfrontends.
Support IIS-hosted apps and investigate issues.
Review and validate database changes before deployment.
Participate in solution design and architecture discussions.
Perform technical impact analysis for enhancements and releases.
Lead or contribute to defect triage and root-cause analysis.
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, infra, database, and vendor teams.
Support environment maintenance, readiness, and release planning.
Ensure documentation and deployment instructions are complete and accurate.
Assist with API, messaging, DB, scheduled jobs, and external integration troubleshooting.
