Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Full Stack .NET Developer to own end-to-end software delivery in a fast-paced environment. You will design, develop, and maintain microservices using .NET Core/.NET 8 and Java, collaborate with UX/UI teams, and ensure secure, scalable backend systems.

You will leverage EF, Docker, AWS, and SPA technologies to build RESTful APIs and modernize legacy apps, while applying DDD and SDD concepts to maintain code quality and architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably more than 5 years of experience as a full stack software engineer.
• Proven professional experience working on .NET Core stack.
• Strong proficiency in .NET Core, .NET 8, C#, Java and related backend technologies.
• Experience building microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns.
• Proficiency in Entity Framework (EF) for database management.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization principles.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and their application.
• Experience implementing OAuth for authentication and authorization.
• Experience with AWS services and server-side development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices architecture using .NET Core, .NET 8 and Java.
• Implement event-driven architecture for seamless inter-service communication.
• Utilize Entity Framework for efficient database interactions and management.
• Containerize applications using Docker for scalability and deployment flexibility.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design principles for clean, modular code structure.
• Implement OAuth for secure authentication and authorization.
• Develop and enforce security best practices across the backend.
• Utilize AWS services for backend development including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS.
• Develop RESTful API endpoints for frontend-backend communication.
• Apply Spec Driven Development concepts using Claude AI technologies.
• Support legacy .NET Framework apps and modernisation paths where applicable.
• Manage hosting and deployment on IIS/Windows Server with config transforms.
• Develop responsive web apps using ASP.NET and WebForms.
• Generate and review unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Create reusable UI components and maintain design system with Storybook.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers for intuitive interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and debug across the stack for smooth operation.
• Optimize performance and scalability for a seamless user experience.
