Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Senior Music Educator & Creative Production Associate will support CRM Creative’s music education programmes, recording projects, and creative content initiatives. The role involves teaching and mentoring students across multiple instruments and contemporary music disciplines, supporting learners with special educational needs, and contributing to curriculum development. In addition, the role supports music production and recording workflows, assists in professional studio sessions, and contributes to creative shoots and digital content production. This position requires cross‑disciplinary expertise spanning music pedagogy, professional performance, audio production, and creative media execution.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and mentor students aged 4–18 in contemporary music disciplines to foster skill development and musical creativity
  • Deliver private and group instruction across guitar, bass, piano, saxophone, and music theory to achieve measurable learning outcomes
  • Adapt teaching methods to support students with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring inclusive and effective learning experiences
  • Collaborate in curriculum development aligned with international music education standards to enhance programme quality and relevance
  • Assist with music production, recording sessions, and arrangement work to support professional‑level music projects
  • Operate and manage projects using Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools to facilitate efficient studio workflows
  • Support studio recording workflows and session preparation to ensure smooth and productive recording environments
  • Collaborate on songwriting, demos, and professional recordings to contribute creatively and technically to music productions
  • Assist with creative shoots and behind‑the‑scenes production to deliver engaging visual content
  • Operate professional mirrorless camera systems (Canon), lighting, and sound equipment to produce high‑quality photo and video materials
  • Edit and prepare digital content using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and/or Final Cut Pro to support marketing, artist showcases, and brand collaborations
  • Support digital content creation initiatives to enhance CRM Creative’s brand presence and audience engagement

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music from a globally recognised tertiary institution, demonstrating strong formal training in contemporary music
  • Formal training in performance, songwriting, and music business to underpin teaching and production expertise
  • Minimum 8 years of combined experience in music education, professional music performance, and studio/live production environments
  • Proven experience working on professional‑level music productions, performances, or large‑scale events to ensure industry‑standard delivery
  • Strong foundation in jazz and contemporary music, including jazz harmony and improvisation, applied in performance, teaching and production contexts
  • Advanced proficiency in Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro to execute technical tasks effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience teaching in formal schools or conservatory‑style programmes to bring structured pedagogical approaches
  • Background working with professional touring productions or large‑scale music events to contribute industry insights
  • Prior endorsements or affiliations with established music brands to enhance professional credibility
  • Experience integrating real‑world industry practice into music education to enrich student learning and relevance
