Job summary

Lonza Singapore is seeking a Lead Engineer, MSAT - Tech Transfer (DSP) to supervise the transfer of purification stages from customer processes into the Singapore facility. You will work with MSAT, customer teams, and Lonza departments to ensure timely, smooth technology transfer.

You will lead preparation, execution, monitoring, and post‑campaign activities, develop process understanding, and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Over 5+ years of experience in biotechnology process development, process support, research, or related manufacturing.
• Graduate degree in Chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, or related discipline.
• Extensive work experience in Biotechnology process development, process support, research or related manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Excel as well as Statistical Data Analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills, outstanding action orientation, and ability to work well in a cross‑functional technical environment.
• Demonstrated track record in completing projects under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer of purification stages into Lonza Singapore production facility, coordinating with MSAT, customer, and Lonza departments.
• Manage preparation, execution, process monitoring, and post‑campaign activities for purification stages.
• Lead investigations into process trends, issues, or deviations across multiple departments and customers.
• Write change requests and drive implementation.
• Design and perform small‑scale experiments/studies to support transfer or investigations.
• Identify training needs and develop materials for MFG operators on purification batch records.
