Senior MLOps Platform Engineer

Job summary

NTU Main Campus in Singapore invites applications for a Platforms Engineer, MLOps, hosted by AISG under the Office of the Vice President for AI & Digital Economy. You will design, build and maintain the platform and tooling stack that enables AISG engineers to deliver work efficiently.

You will implement ML pipelines, CI/CD, and model monitoring while collaborating with data scientists and other stakeholders to align ML solutions with AISG's goals.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of engineering or infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or JavaScript/TypeScript (Python/TypeScript preferred).
• Proficiency with Linux systems administration.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Bash).
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Cloud platforms exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong DevOps/MLOps practices and agile development mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain platform and tooling stack for AISG engineers.
• Serve as liaison between Platforms Engineering and AI project teams to ensure ML tooling and CI/CD.
• Develop MLOps practices, including ML pipelines, testing, and model monitoring/versioning.
• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to meet AISG needs.
• Build production infrastructure that is resilient, secure and high-performing.
• Apply infrastructure-as-code to automate provisioning, deployment and monitoring.
• Document and investigate system issues and drive technical decisions to completion.
• Mentor AISG Apprentices and contribute to the MLOps curriculum.
