Responsibilities

• Provide bioinformatics analysis of microbiome omics data (metagenomics/metatranscriptomics).
• Integrate microbiome data with host genomics and clinical data.
• Develop, maintain automated, scalable pipelines for microbiome data processing.
• Stay current with new bioinformatics tools and integrate into projects.
• Manage datasets with data security and privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and external partners.
• Visualize complex data for interdisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to hypothesis development, grants, publications, and presentations.
• Mentor junior lab members in bioinformatics analysis and sequencing interpretation.
