Job summary

Surbana Consultants Pte Ltd – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) branch seeks an experienced BIM Leader to guide the MEP BIM team, delivering complex projects with high quality and on schedule. You will develop BIM standards, manage 3D models, coordinate across disciplines, and liaise with authorities for approvals, leveraging Revit and Navisworks to optimize design and construction outcomes.

The role requires Singapore project exposure and a strong leadership background.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Building Services, BIM, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant MEP design and BIM coordination experience.
• Prior experience in a Singapore-based MEP consultancy environment.
• Proven track record as a BIM Leader, BIM Manager, or equivalent role.
• Strong expertise in MEP design coordination, BIM modelling, clash detection, and deliverables management.
• In-depth knowledge of Singapore MEP design practices, BIM standards, and authority submission processes.
• Proficient in BIM software and coordination tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and other platforms.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities across dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall MEP BIM team, ensuring timely, quality delivery.
• Develop BIM strategies, standards, workflows, and project requirements.
• Plan, manage, and maintain 3D BIM models and data per BEP rules.
• Produce and coordinate BIM models, drawings, schedules, and documents.
• Provide BIM modelling, drafting, and technical support to Singapore MEP team.
• Coordinate with C&S, Architectural, and MEP across local and overseas projects.
• Lead design coordination, conduct clash reports, and run coordination meetings.
• Liaise with engineers and stakeholders to submit drawings to authorities for approvals.
• Drive design optimization using BIM/VDC beyond 3D modelling and promote innovation.
