The role drives innovation adoption, influences technical standards, leads advanced development/fixing/integration, and develops engineering capability through mentorship and knowledge building.
Define technical strategy and lead multi-functional projects in structural and electrical film development.
Architect solutions and promote innovative technologies across teams influence standards and drive process improvements.
Lead advanced process development, fixing, and integration validate within and cross-module interactions and device/process linkages via wafer-level electricals.
Drive complex problem solving across process/structure/hardware/device interactions (RCA, FMEA, SPC, corrective actions that recover window without yield trade-off).
Lead vendor engagements to push hardware/process capability secure resources and set achievements.
Mentor engineers through structured development build SME pipelines publish internal papers/BKMs and present to senior leadership uphold Micron's technical leadership expectations
Integrates AI assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.
PhD ≥12 yrs, or Master's ≥15 yrs, of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field
With extensive thin films R&D/PD experience
Advanced thin film processing proficiency (PECVD / thermal CVD / ALD) and hands-on equipment optimization for dielectric + carbon films.
Advanced characterization and correlation modeling linking process parameters to reliability/scaling behavior.
Strong understanding of process-mechanical-device interactions and NAND scaling.
Recognized technical authority high-impact influence strong mentorship capability.
