Job description

The Senior/Medical Social Worker will work closely with the Programme Leads to develop and provide interventions to patients and families who require support regards to treatment adherence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work alongside with programme leads to develop interventions, which includes engaging and working with stakeholders

  • Conduct qualitative interviews and focus group discussions with relevant stakeholders, where applicable

  • Develop, refine and provide pilot social work intervention comprising an assessment framework to facilitate the identification of areas that require support, individualised health and well‑being plan as well as intensive case management

  • Assist with the feasibility and evaluation studies

  • Assist in preparing progress and final report of the project and cases

  • Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures

  • Assist with any other duties as assigned by HOD, programme lead and supervisors, as when required

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work or Post graduate Degree in Social work

  • Registered Social worker with the Social Work Accreditation Board (SWAB)

  • At least 3-5 year(s) of direct social work experience practice (especially in working with families with young children)

  • A fast and efficient team player with the ability to multi‑task

  • Good Communication and Written skills
