Job summary

A consulting firm in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to handle preventive maintenance and Capex projects. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in engineering, at least 5 years of maintenance experience, and familiarity with industrial standards like API and ASME. Ensuring conformance with regulatory requirements and executing projects are key responsibilities in this role.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for identifying whether an asset requires preventive maintenance, based on risk assessments & asset criticality review, regulatory & statutory requirements, maintenance policies and analysis of the maintenance history
• Responsible for determining and adjusting the required preventive maintenance for an asset: specifying what type of preventive maintenance must be performed on a regular basis, possible adjustments based on manufacturers’ instructions, legislation requirements, status of warranty
• Responsible for identifying with what frequency preventive maintenance work orders must be executed
• Identify Capex required based on business or sustainability needs
• Execute the Capex projects
• Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and / or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirement

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance
