Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure the right level of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is applied in reorder moulds within LEGO Moulding Technology.
  • Secure the right technical solutions within established engineering standards.
  • Drive mould solutions towards internal platforms.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement and simplicity thinking across Mould Development.
  • Develop and share technical knowledge in mould development processes and best practices.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture by emphasizing teamwork, LEAN principles, and productivity.
  • Lead initiatives within Mould Development and in Reorders focused on Quality and Productivity, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Lead and share specialist expertise in reorder moulds with cross‑functional partners and stakeholders

Mould Development Reorder (MDR) is a part of Mould Engineering within the Element & Mould Engineering organization, which operates under the Engineering & Quality function in Operations. MDR ensures high quality re‑order mould solutions created worldwide on all LEGO mould platforms, and productivity in a fast paced business with a mindset of flexibility. Through continuously business development MDR supports the broader organization by improving the as‑is through cross‑functional collaboration and state of the art mould solutions.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Plastic/Tooling related field
  • Good knowledge in injection mould design, manufacturing methods, moulding process and moulding equipments
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mould and moulding related industry
  • Understanding of plastic materials and its behavior
  • Experience using 3D CAD system (NX is preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proven experience in managing a high number of stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of process improvement tools and techniques such as six sigma, lean methodologies, Agile, etc
  • Requires up to 5% travel
