Description

To assist the Project/ Maintenance Manager in project planning, monitoring, coordination, detailed engineering and design reviews, risks assessments, vendor data, procurement-related issues, coordination with discipline Engineers and other contractors/ vendors to meet the progress and budget.

Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for the delivery of projects in compliance with system specifications.
  • To be involved in project management and product development.
  • To be involved in the development of procedures, detailed Engineering calculations, drawing and specifications.
  • To coordinate installation supervision such that commissioning and start-up is in accordance to contract.
  • To monitor the progress of projects.
  • To liaise with Client’s Representative on all project issues and sub-contractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery of projects to both the company and client’s satisfaction.
  • To assist with the management of internal and external third party interfaces.
  • To plan monthly work schedule and set productivity to be achieved.
  • To conduct Material Take Off (MTO) and management of list of materials (LOM).
  • To initiate and undertake action to prevent the occurrence of non- conformity.
  • To lead cost-saving initiatives and execute price comparison for high value purchases of non-OEM services, materials and parts.
  • To examine and review plant equipment data/ trends and maintenance work performance regularly to identify opportunities for improvement of equipment reliability and maintenance work efficiency and effectiveness.
  • To drive the implementation of improvement initiatives and projects.
  • To lead and guide subordinates and assigned in-house contract workers to execute their work safely, effectively, efficiently and without re-work.
  • To conduct training for members and in-house contract workers on specific technical topics.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • Preferably with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Industries and familiar with project engineering software.
