Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting Project Manager to prepare and review design documents, drawings, technical calculations, equipment datasheets, and tender specifications.
  • Managing various project stakeholders during the execution of project.
  • Evaluate mechanical system layouts, equipment sizing, and ensure compliance with local codes and guidelines.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, equipment suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee mechanical installation, testing & commissioning (T&C) at site to ensure conformity with design and project timelines.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and recommendation reports for mechanical equipment procurement.
  • Manage change requests, resolve site issues, and support troubleshooting during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Monitor and lead the supervisors and workers for the installation, testing and commissioning works.
  • Assist and attend to any ad-hoc assignments by Project Manager related to the project.
Requirements Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • WSQ or MOM- recognized safety certifications (e.g., BCSS, RM course) preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SolidWorks, or similar software.
