Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate Mechanical and Electrical services on construction sites. Candidates should possess a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience, including supervisory roles. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this position, which excludes candidates lacking the required experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with recognized degree in relevant field.
• At least 3 years of supervision experience of E&M work in construction.
• Experience with LTA project is preferable.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate Mechanical and Electrical services with consultant and sub-contractors on site.
• Oversee all related M&E issues on site.
• Assist Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities.
• Attend external project meetings, meetings with consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, daily project meetings and internal project closure meeting.
• Assist Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submissions with Drafting Department.
• Ensure adherence to the Safe Work Procedure (SWP).
• Ensure the timely preparation of project progress and other reports.
• Follow up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; record all defects and ensure proper documentation.
• Order materials required for projects.

Job Requirements

• Degree in electrical/mechanical/electronics engineering or relevant qualification
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with recognized degree in relevant field, and at least 3 years of supervision experience of E&M work in construction site for projects of similar complexity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with LTA project is preferable.
