Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to collaborate on innovative designs for vision modules. You will be responsible for developing 3D models, conducting performance assessments, and supporting prototype testing. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, over 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, and proficiency in CAD software. Mandarin communication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• More than 7 years of mechanical design experience in the semiconductor industry or similar field.
• Proficient in CAD software for designing components and assemblies.
• Knowledge of optical systems and vision technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand vision module requirements.
• Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications for components.
• Conduct feasibility studies and performance assessments for design optimization.
• Perform structural analysis and simulations for performance and reliability.
• Drive design reviews and work with suppliers to procure materials.
• Support prototype builds and testing activities for design validation.
