Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Senior / Mechanical Design Engineer to lead feasibility, drawing, and sizing tasks in energy-efficient projects in Singapore.

The role involves site surveys, system design optimisation, simulations, tender support, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and sustainability standards. Strong ACMV design and communication skills are essential for coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical field.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience.
• Energy auditing certificates preferred (BCA Energy Auditor, GMAP/GMAAP, SCEM).
• Strong ACMV design, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess technical requirements.
• Develop and optimise system designs including sizing and configuration.

• Conduct site surveysand assess technical requirements and constraints
• Develop and optimise system designs, including equipment sizing, selection, and configuration
• Perform simulationsto evaluate design options for efficiency, cost, and operational feasibility
• Support Business Development by providing technical solutions for tenders and proposals
• Conduct Green Mark gap analysis and recommend improvements to achieve certification targets
• Prepare and submitapplications for approvals, legislations, and grants on behalf of clients
• Ensure compliancewith building regulations, codes, and sustainability standards

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field (preferably sustainability-related)
