Job summary

A leading research and innovation organization in Singapore is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of mechanical systems for containerized data centers. Responsibilities include CAD design, thermal and structural simulation, and integrating high-power liquid cooling solutions. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in data center or industrial applications.
• Strong understanding of TIA-942 standards and Tier III data center infrastructure.
• Proficient in using high-power test equipment and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design 2D/3D CAD models for mechanical containers, chassis, and components.
• Perform CAE modelling, including structural and thermal simulations.
• Support high-power testing to ensure mechanical systems withstand operation loads.
• Develop liquid cooling solutions for high-density server racks.
• Prepare detailed analysis reports summarizing test results.
