Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Manufacturing Operations and Industrial Engineering Program Manager to own factory layout and material flow design across AWS rack fulfillment sites. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with facilities, construction, and engineering teams to ensure scalable, efficient manufacturing infrastructure.

This role focuses on capacity planning, automation integration, and delivering standards for rapid ramp to volume manufacturing across a global network.

Qualifications

• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience in technical product or program management.
• 5+ years of technical program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate rack fulfillment capacity plans into data-driven facility layouts for AWS manufacturing operations across EC2, ML, and Storage platforms.
• Coordinate utility and infrastructure requirements (power, cooling, network, compressed air) for each production zone with facilities and construction teams.
• Manage phased layout plans and own layout change control with clear visual documentation and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and sustain operations by optimizing layout to reduce cycle time and improve throughput.
• Communicate effectively with executives and cross functional teams.
