Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to provide day-to-day technical support for production lines, including cleanroom, sub-assembly, optical build and laser final test areas.

You will maintain quality, reliability and cycle time standards for laser builds and lead improvements using Six Sigma, Lean, DOE, SPC, FMEA and GR&R methods. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years in high mix-low volume manufacturing; laser photonics experience is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years in high mix-low volume manufacturing.
• Experience with laser photonics is highly desired.
• Expertise in manufacturing, assembly & test for mechanical assemblies, PCBA and optical components.
• Strong problem-solving with Six Sigma DMAIC, Lean, DOE, SPC, FMEA, GR&R; Green/Black Belt is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for production lines including cleanroom, sub-assembly, optical build and laser final test areas.
• Maintain quality, reliability and cycle time standards of the laser build process.
• Improve production methods using knowledge of design, materials, fabrication, tooling and equipment.
• Own electronic travelers, assembly and process methods, and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with quality, reliability and supply chain teams to improve product performance.
• Analyze and implement corrective actions from customer feedback.
• Tackle complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of factors.
