Job summary

NUSANTARA PRIME CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Biochemical Manufacturing support professional to work within the Biochemical Manufacturing Department.

The role involves preparing equipment, sterilizing vessels, handling solutions, monitoring processes, and sampling while ensuring safety and cGMP compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Life Sciences or related field, has at least 5 years of relevant experience, and can work rotating 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Life Sciences, Engineering discipline or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to perform rotating 12 hours shift.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal communication and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support Biochemical Manufacturing Department to meet goals and objectives.
• Perform tasks including preparing equipment, cleaning and sterilizing vessels, preparing solutions, monitoring processes and sampling.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
• Support process improvements and maintain process control records.
• Participate in shift change meetings and coordinate with other staff and external support groups.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and cGMP guidelines; report incidents as required.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Support the Biochemical Manufacturing Department by working effectively within the group to meet department goals &objectives.
• Responsible for completing assigned tasks which may include preparing small equipment, cleaning & sterilizing vessels, preparing solutions, monitoring and operation biochemical processing equipment, raw materials sampling, dispensing and environmental monitoring sampling and maintain housekeeping of the areas while adhering to Safety, cGMP & Biochemical manufacturing guidelines.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems.
• Support process improvement efforts.
• Assist in process control records & data entry.
• Participate in staff and shift change meetings, work closely with other shift personnel and external support group
• Ensure all assigned tasks are performed as per safety requirement. Report safety incident and near misses on a timely basis and support EHS in incident investigation.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Life Sciences, Engineering discipline or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to perform rotating 12 hours shift
• Able to work independently and good team player.
• Possess good problem solving, interpersonal communication skills.
• Have initiative with strong focus on safety, quality and result.
• Meticulous, attention to details.
• Able to carry heavy load of up to 25kg.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiar with computer-based systems are highly desired.
• Background in microbiology, fermentation or protein purification has an added advantage.

Contract Duration: 12 months
