A leading research institute in Singapore is seeking a financial planner to support budget management and long-term financial projections. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI. A hybrid work arrangement is available, requiring location visits at Biopolis and Jurong Island.
The Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (ISCE2) was established by A*STAR in 2022 to support Singapore’s sustainability goals, including the Singapore Green Plan and Zero Waste Masterplan, through strong international partnerships with industry, public agencies, and academia. ISCE2 is located at Jurong Island.
You will play a key role in supporting the financial planning, budget management, and long‑term financial projections to optimise resource allocation. You will prepare and present monthly reports to provide key financial insights for decision‑making. Additionally, you will assist in corporate governance, risk management and business continuity management. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders at all levels within ISCE2, as well as various counterparts in HQ e.g. Finance, HR, ERMO etc.
