Job description
What the role is

RoleThe incumbent will be involved in strengthening Singapore’s national cyber resilience by planning, designing, and executing cybersecurity exercises for Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) sectors to validate and uplift national readiness against evolving cyber threats.

What you will be working on
  • Review Sectoral Threat Profile (STP) prepared by the Sector Leads to ensure its relevance with emerging threats.
  • Conduct Exercise Planning & Design by defining exercise objectives aligned to national cyber resilience goals and risk profiles.
  • Supervise external consultants’ work to ensure that exercise objectives and outcomes are achieved.
  • Provide inputs on the conceptualisation and design of exercises, including research into the current threat landscape and recommendation of suitable exercise themes/narratives.
  • Support review of documentation from exercise participants to improve the quality of the exercise and ensure targeted exercise objectives are met.
  • Evaluate the completed exercise which includes delivery of an End‑of‑Exercise Report.
  • Engage stakeholders through briefings and planning workshops to ensure operational requirements are understood and designed into the exercise.
What we are looking for
  • Background preferably in Computing/Cybersecurity/Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Possess at least 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in cybersecurity operations performing roles such as incident responder or a Security Operation Centre (SOC) analyst.
  • Possess at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Possess professional cybersecurity experience and/or qualifications (e.g. GIAC, ISC2, ISACA) will be beneficial.
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder management is required.
  • Experience in cybersecurity risk assessments, audit, compliance and/or exercise methodologies is preferred.
