Overview

Reporting to Director, Corporate Services, we are looking for a candidate to support senior management in strategic planning, resource management and overseeing the day-to-day running of the division.

You will be leading a team of corporate colleagues in the involvement of Human Resource and Finance functions, Talent development and Career Planning, Procurement support and managing regular reporting to HQ as well as leading all projects/events initiated by the Institute.

This involves working closely with the core management team in managing the Institute overall budget and resources, liaising with the stakeholders in staff recruitment & onboarding, research manpower cost tracking and projections, talent retention, staff discipline and appraisal management. Ensures timely and accurate reporting and meeting all the requests from Head Office as well as taking the lead in planning and executing all key events.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support senior management in strategic planning, resource management and day-to-day operations of the division.
  • Direct a team of corporate colleagues across Human Resources, Finance, Talent development and Career Planning, and Procurement support; manage regular reporting to HQ and lead projects/events initiated by the Institute.
  • Manage the Institute's overall budget and resources in collaboration with the core management team.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement for staff recruitment and onboarding, and monitor research manpower cost tracking and projections.
  • Oversee talent retention, staff discipline and appraisal management; ensure timely and accurate reporting to Head Office.
  • Plan and execute key events as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree with 5 years of experience, preferably in HR and resource management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of corporate colleagues in managing day-to-day operations.
  • Quick-thinking, resourceful and creative problem solver who works well with various stakeholders and under pressure.
  • Positive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Resilient and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities.
