Job summary

Avensys Consulting PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Director/Senior Manager, AI ML Operations to lead the AI operations lifecycle, deploying models and managing drift, performance, and cost.

You will oversee CI/CD deployments and mentor a global team across HQ and offshore. You will shape model governance, incident response, and recovery playbooks, ensuring reliability and scalability of ML pipelines while collaborating with stakeholders across banking, insurance, and tech clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in ML/MLOps/platform engineering with team leadership.
• Experience deploying and operating ML models in production.
• Experience with model registry, versioning, lineage, reproducibility, deployment tracking.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills for validation and monitoring.
• Proven ability to lead across HQ and offshore teams.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and crisis leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Operations lifecycle for production ML models and CI/CD toolchain.
• Own deployment discipline, versioning, and lineage registries as deployment approver.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the AI Operations function responsible for the operational life cycle of every AI/MLmodel serving the telco’s production agents. Own model deployment through the platform CI/CD toolchain, deployment discipline and rollback, the model portfolio and hybrid routing strategy, drift and performance monitoring, and model cost, quota, and capacity. Own the version/lineage registry and serve asa four-eyes deployment approver. Lead a small team of MLOps engineers across HQand offshore.

How You willMake An Impact:

• Own AI/ML model deployment operations via CI/CD tool chain and enforce deployment-discipline rules and serve as approver for deployments and rollbacks.
• Ensure day-to-day stability, reliability, and performance of ML models and pipelines. Own model performance and drift monitoring, including silent-provider-update detection and the response playbook.
• Manage model lifecycle controls, including versioning, lineage, reproducibility, monitoring, and governance.
• Develop incident handling, recovery, and escalation procedures for ML-related issues.
• Chair post-incident reviews and drive corrective actions and systemic findings into the troubleshooting manual and backlog.
• Lead, roster, and develop the team across HQ and offshore; own on-call discipline, fatigue management, and shift handover quality.

Skills forSuccess:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years in ML/MLOps/platform engineering with team leadership
• Experience deploying and operating ML models in production
• Experience with model lifecycle management, including model registry, versioning, lineage, reproducibility, deployment tracking, and monitoring.
• Experience with SQL, Databricks, MLFlow and PowerBI/Tableau.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps tools and cloud ML platforms such as MLflow, Databricks, Azure ML, or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills for validation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and reporting.
