Job description
Senior Manager/ Manager, Finance Business Partner

Changi Airport Group (CAG) is the manager of Singapore Changi Airport, a leading air hub in Asia and one of the world's most awarded airports. As airport manager, CAG performs the key functions of airport operations, air hub development, retail and commercial activities, infrastructure development and airport emergency services. CAG also manages Seletar Airport, and through its subsidiary, Changi Airports International, it takes Changi's presence beyond Singapore's shores through consultancy projects and investments in foreign airports. Come join us today!

As a key member of the Finance Business Partner team within the Finance Division, you will establish strategic finance partnerships with both new and fast-growing businesses and core divisions across the Changi Airport Group. We partner with our businesses and divisions by delivering strategic financial insights, designing robust finance processes and controls and supporting stakeholders in data-driven business decision making that advance CAG's strategic priorities. If you are looking for a role that combines strategic influence, commercial structuring, and hands‑on impact, this is the place for you!

Your role and responsibilities

You will be expected to step beyond number‑crunching to translate financial data into insights that drive smarter business decisions. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

Strategic Business Partnering and Structuring

  • Acting as the primary financial advisor to business leaders and teams, offering financial insights that drive strategic decision making, identifying growth opportunities, and mitigating financial risks.
  • Advising on optimal structuring of new ventures and business models, ensuring alignment with CAG's strategic direction, governance, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with startup leads to refine comprehensive business cases and business models, including developing profit-sharing frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support the review of contracts and RFPs (Request for Proposal) to embed sound financial provisions and commercially viable terms

Financial Planning and Performance Management

  • Partner with businesses to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and cashflow projections, ensuring financial reasonableness and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and deliver regular and ad‑hoc performance reports with impactful data visualisation that links financial outcomes to business drivers.
  • Anticipate risks, model scenarios, and provide alternatives backed by data to influence future outcomes.
  • Shift seamlessly from the big picture to the detail and back again, ensuring execution aligns with strategy.

Process Excellence and Financial Communication

  • Design and map out end-to-end finance processes for new initiatives, embedding controls to manage identified risks.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing finance policies and processes, contributing to cross-functional projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Tell a compelling story with data: turning financials into a narrative that drives action and wins buy‑in from non-finance stakeholders.
  • Pair commercial acumen with strong communication, making finance accessible and building the financial capability and confidence of non-finance managers.

Your profile

We are looking for a commercially savvy individual who possesses the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years' experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A or Commercial Finance.
  • Financial & Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (including Power Query, Power Pivot)
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels. Strong proficiency in financial storytelling, data analysis and visualisation, writing, and presentation
  • Mindset: Sharp critical thinking, high attention to detail, and a proactive, hands‑on approach. Must be an independent, adaptable, and resourceful team player who excels in dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
