The National University of Singapore is seeking a highly motivated candidate as a Senior Manager/Manager at the Yeo Boon Khim Mind Science Centre. The Centre has been driving translational research in mind health and developing community interventions to enhance emotional resilience and optimize cognitive performance, across life trajectory. The Yeo Boon Khim Mind Science Centre is a National University of Singapore (NUS) and National University Health System (NUHS) Centre.

Appointments will be made on a 2-year contract basis with the possibility of extension.

Reporting to the Associate Director, the incumber will lead the development, coordination, and execution of fundraising, donor stewardship, publicity, events management, and communications.

Duties & Responsibilities
DEVELOPMENT, FUNDRAISING AND STEWARDSHIP MANAGEMENT
  • Collaborate with Development Office to manage a portfolio of major gifts prospects and donors, including donor solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective donors through research and engagement.
  • Draft and prepare tailored funding proposals, working closely with medical faculty, Principal Investigators, and researchers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for gift processing, compliance, and audit purposes.
  • Plan and execute at least one high profile event per year, a Board/volunteer retreat, and Greater Good Series events to enhance donor engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of fundraising campaign strategies. Setting priorities and methodology to maximise impact.
EVENTS AND COMMUNICATION
  • Strategically promote MSC’s academic and translational research initiatives to donors and partners.
  • Lead the conceptualisation, development, and production of key fundraising collaterals, including digital and social media content, brochures, other marketing collaterals.
  • Strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders, foster collaborations and expand outreach channels.
  • Build and maintain a repository of impact stories, draft talking points, and support media engagement efforts.
ORGANISATIONAL EXCELLENCE
  • Provide secretariat support to the team, committees and Boards, ensuring smooth operations and governance.
  • Analyse and report on return on investment for fundraising initiatives.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, with at least 4 years of working experience.
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with strong relationship management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills, with the capacity to craft compelling proposals and donor engagement materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other presentation tools.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team-oriented environment, and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and pleasant disposition, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset.
