What the role is

The role of IT Compliance Analyst is to support our IT compliance initiatives, with a focus on automating processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for problem-solving, process optimization, and compliance frameworks. You will work closely with and across team members to streamline workflows, particularly in areas like data collection (e.g., audit returns, regulatory reports), and contribute to building scalable solutions.

What you will be working on
IT Compliance Support
  • Support the maintenance of compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and documentation of control procedures.
  • Develop and implement compliance dashboards and alerting mechanisms for violations.
Process Automation & Improvement
  • Identify repetitive, manual tasks (e.g., data gathering, report generation) and propose automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop scripts/tools to streamline workflows.
  • Test and implement automated solutions for tasks like aggregating returns, monitoring compliance status, or generating dashboards.
Data Management & Reporting
  • Coordinate the collection, validation, and organization of compliance-related data from stakeholders.
  • Use tools like Excel, Tableau to analyze data and create visual reports.
  • Ensure accurate records of automated processes and their outcomes.
Collaboration & Documentation
  • Work across teams to align automation efforts with compliance goals.
  • Document processes, automation workflows, and compliance controls.
What we are looking for
Qualification
  • Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with compliance tools is beneficial.
  • Certifications such as CISA, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or ISO 27001 Foundation are beneficial.
Technical Skills
  • Scripting/programming knowledge.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau).
  • Experience with automation tools, platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, custom solutions).
Compliance Knowledge
  • Understanding of IT compliance principles (risk management, audit frameworks).
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
