Job summary

Visa's Asia Pacific Innovation team is seeking a Senior Manager, Innovation to lead short- and long-term product opportunities across payments, commerce, and emerging tech. You will translate client needs and market signals into actionable concepts, prototypes, and pilot plans while coordinating with Product, Design, Technology, Strategy, Partnerships, and regional markets.

Responsibilities

• Run 0-1 product innovation sprints from problem framing to concept, prototype, validation, pilot planning, and handoff.
• Turn client needs, market signals, and emerging tech trends into clear product opportunities.
• Build problem statements, value props, customer journeys, concept notes, pitch materials, and pilot plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Design, Technology, Strategy, Partnerships, and markets.
• Drive rapid research, prototyping, testing, and synthesis to support go/no-go decisions.
• Maintain timelines, owners, outputs, and next steps for workstreams.
• Support client and partner conversations with sharp narratives and practical recommendations.
• Bring structure without slowing momentum.

Team Summary: Visa's Asia Pacific Innovation team develops new product opportunities across payments, commerce, and emerging technology. The team works with Product, Design, Technology, Strategy, Partnerships, and markets to identify client problems, shape new concepts, test them quickly, and move the strongest ideas toward pilot and scale.

What the Senior Manager, Innovation will do:

• Run 0-1 product innovation sprints from problem framing to concept, prototype, validation, pilot planning, and handoff.
• Turn client needs, market signals, and emerging technology trends into clear product opportunities.
• Build problem statements, value propositions, customer journeys, concept notes, pitch materials, and pilot plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional working teams across Product, Design, Technology, Strategy, Partnerships, and markets.
• Drive rapid research, prototyping, testing, and synthesis to help teams make faster go / no-go decisions.
• Keep workstreams moving with clear timelines, owners, outputs, and next steps.
• Support client and partner conversations by shaping sharp narratives, demos, and practical recommendations.
• Bring structure without slowing the work down.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• 10+ years of experience in product innovation, venture building, start-ups, fintech, payments, digital commerce, strategy, consulting, or technology-led growth.
• Strong 0-1 experience, ideally building, testing, launching, or scaling new products, propositions, ventures, or business models.
• Experience running sprints, workshops, discovery, prototyping, validation, MVP development, or pilot planning.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving fast without waiting for perfect information.
• Strong commercial judgment, with the ability to tell the difference between an interesting idea and a useful business opportunity.
• Strong product storytelling skills, including the ability to turn complex capabilities into simple, client-facing narratives.
• Hands-on execution style. Comfortable whiteboarding, writing, testing, chasing inputs, aligning stakeholders, and unblocking work.
• Strong project management discipline, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and keep momentum.
• Experience working in or with large corporates is a strong plus.
• Experience and strong evidence of interest in payments, fintech, platforms, AI, digital commerce, wallets, data, or emerging technology specifically agentic commerce and stablecoins is strongly preferred.
• Background in a start-up, scale-up, venture studio, product build team, or consulting build unit would be highly relevant.
