Roles & Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
  • Supervise workflows: Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, material transfers, shipping and waste disposition
  • Space optimisation: Design layouts for maximum storage capacity and accessibility.
  • Meet KPIs: Develop and track warehouse metrics, like order accuracy, turnaround time and overtime management.
2. Streamlining Inventory Management & Control
  • Maintain accuracy: Conduct regular audits (cycle counts, year end stocktakes)
  • Established inventory storage strategy based on FMSABC.
  • Ensure FIFO compliance and Shelf life management
  • Manage returns from plants.
3. Enhancing Transportation Efficiency
  • Reduce transportation costs through route optimization and carrier performance management.
  • Increase on-time delivery performance to 95% or higher.
  • Implement sustainable transportation practices to reduce carbon emissions
4. Enhancing Supplier Collaboration
  • Implement supplier performance management system to track and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Reduce supplier lead time by 15% through improved communication and collaboration.
  • Achieve a 90% supplier satisfaction rate based on regular feedback surveys.
5. Enhancing Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Implement cross-functional communication and collaboration tools or platforms.
  • Conduct regular cross-functional meetings to align objectives and share information within the next quarter.
Requirements
