Job summary

A leading investment firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Manager for Finance Regional Operations. This role involves overseeing financial operations for overseas subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate policies. The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting with 8–10 years of relevant experience, including leadership of financial reporting teams. We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual who will lead and manage our Group's financial reporting operations across multiple overseas portfolios. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to partner with cross‑functional teams to support business growth and governance. You will have the opportunity to lead a team in providing the full range of financial reporting functions to support the efficient and effective running of our business. As the leader, you will continue the development of a highly capable and motivated team responsible for the maintenance of accurate financial records, monthly reporting, and working closely with our overseas teams to maintain an effective system of financial control and ensuring the team supports all day‑to‑day financial management issues. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with local and international accounting standards, and driving operational efficiency. As you play a pivotal role in our overseas financial reporting function, you may also have the opportunity to be involved in exciting investment projects as we continue to drive business growth in the various jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial operations for overseas subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze regional financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead and manage the financial reporting team to ensure timely and accurate period‑end close and US GAAP reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Oversee the statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Work closely with overseas tax teams to maintain compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Provide financial analysis to drive decision‑making and improve profitability.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes and financial controls and enhance the efficiency of the team's processes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent field.
  • At least 8–10 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in audit or a related field. Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm, group audit management and listed company experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience in real estate will be an added advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of, and experience in SFRS(I), with strong technical and analytical skills. Cohesiveness in US GAAP will be a plus.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication, people management, and organisational skills.
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with MRI and/or SAP accounting software would be beneficial.
