WHAT TO EXPECT

The role reports to the Group CFO and leads finance operations, covering end-to-end accounting, consolidation, statutory and regulatory reporting (IRAS, GST, ACRA, MAS), cashflow and tax compliance, and external audit. The Senior Finance Manager will manage a team in Singapore and overseas, ensuring timely and accurate financial closing, strong governance, and effective financial processes, while also driving budgeting, forecasting, and providing insights to support management decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Financial Operations & Control
  • Lead the end-to-end finance function, including monthly closing, consolidation of group entities, and preparation of insights for MBR.
  • Oversee statutory reporting, annual audit, and financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with tax (IRAS), GST, and ACRA filing requirements.
  • Manage regulatory reporting and annual submissions to MAS.
  • Strengthen internal controls, governance practices, and risk management processes.
2. Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial plans across the group.
  • Reconcile actuals vs forecasts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Provide margin, contribution, and cost allocation analysis to support commercial decisions.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align financial performance with business strategy.
3. Business Partnering
  • Collaborate with Distribution, Compliance, and Operations teams to translate financial insights into actionable strategies.
  • Provide finance support to optimize campaigns, distribution strategies, and resource allocation.
  • Deliver timely management reports and board decks.
4. Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage and mentor a team of 3 in Singapore and >2 overseas, building technical capabilities and ensuring effective delivery of finance processes.
  • Proactively review, document, and improve finance processes, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA) strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, including team management and end-to-end monthly closing.
  • Proven experience with statutory reporting, audit, tax/GST filing, and ACRA compliance; prior experience in MAS regulatory submissions is an advantage.
  • Strong technical grounding in accounting with exposure to group consolidation.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with the ability to link numbers to business performance.
  • Meticulous, analytical, and able to balance detail orientation with a broader strategic perspective.
  • Confident communicator with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-border teams.
