We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (Corporate and Institutional Banking).

In this role you will
  • Provide Second Line of Defense (2LOD) support, guidance, advice, challenge and stewardship to Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) Singapore for all resilience risk related matters, including Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs) and the control environment – including in relation to technology and cyber security risk, data risk and third party risk
  • Provide 2LOD support, guidance, advice, challenge and stewardship to CIB Singapore in relation to operational resilience, business continuity and incident management
  • Support embedding by CIB of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other ERM-owned frameworks, for example AI Risk and Risk Culture
  • Support the 2LOD enterprise-wide and resilience risk oversight, review and challenge of new product approvals, change programmes and other strategic initiatives as appropriate
  • Support (and lead, where appropriate) thematic reviews across CIB Singapore to ensure that the risk and control environment is commensurate with the scale and nature of operations
  • Support the implementation and embedding of the ERM functional strategy
  • Support the Head of ERM Singapore and the Head of ERM CIB A&ME in discharging additional stewardship responsibilities as applicable, for example transaction and payment processing, and digital asset currency risk
  • Ensure the integrity and timely completeness of risk and control identification, assessment and information within the Group’s Risk and Control system of record (Helios) as well as directing documented remediation plans for residual risks
To be successful you will need
  • Strong understanding of processes, risks and controls relating to Corporate and Institutional Banking segments and products
  • Strong level of risk management knowledge and relevant experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the external environment (risk, regulatory, geopolitical, competitor etc)
  • A BA or BS University Degree preferable in relevant discipline
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. Information Systems Audit and Control Association certification or equivalent qualification from a recognised professional body) may be advantageous
  • Previous experience and/or knowledge in Resilience Risk types, especially on Technology (including Cyber) Risk, Data & Information Risk and Payments and Transaction Processing Risk, will be advantageous
