Job description

This role is part of the Technology Solutions department and reports to the Vice President of the Core Insurance Solutions team. You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operations of our core insurance and accounting systems, ensuring service standards and performance targets are met, while maintaining customer satisfaction, data integrity, and compliance. The role also includes vendor and project management for system upgrades and automation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • System support: Provide technical and functional support for core insurance and accounting systems, including vendor management
  • Project management: Lead and manage projects involving system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Compliance: Ensure systems and processes comply with regulatory and internal standards
  • Process automation & innovation: Leverage generative AI, RPA and emerging technologies to enhance workflows and automate processes. Participate in other assigned projects aligned with our digital strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Certification in project management (e.g., Project Management Professional) is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting general insurance core systems, with strong knowledge of general insurance operations. Experience with FirstGen is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting accounting systems; familiarity with SunSystems is preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL for scripting and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience in project and vendor management, with proficiency in methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. Experience with MS Project is a plus.
  • Experience implementing solutions using generative AI, RPA and emerging technologies to enhance workflows and automate processes is an advantage
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Power BI, Power Platform, MS Visio, and Copilot
  • Data management experience is an added advantage
  • Strong communication skills; people management experience is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
