A community service organization located in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Excellence to oversee the operational management of six centers. The role is pivotal in driving efficiency, aligning strategic initiatives, and managing a team of Centre Heads. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and a track record in process improvement, along with at least 8-10 years of operational experience. This position reports to senior leadership and requires excellent communication abilities.
The Senior Manager, Business Excellence leads and oversees operational management and strategic initiatives across six centres. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, service quality and alignment with the organisation's long-term goals. S/he will work closely with the Centre Heads to drive a high-performing culture, improve processes and implement best practices that support sustained growth and excellence across all six centres. This role reports to Chief, Early Intervention for Children Services.
Lead the operational and strategic management of six centers in collaboration with Centre Heads.
Ensure that each center operates efficiently, meets performance targets, and aligns with the organization's mission and objectives.
Establish and enforce operational standards and SOPs to ensure consistency and excellence across centers.
Track, analyze, and report on center-level and overall operational KPIs.
Identify performance gaps and implement targeted improvement initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, resource utilization, and best practice sharing.
Manage and mentor a team of Centre Heads and support staff, promoting a culture of accountability and high performance.
Lead manpower planning, recruitment support, and staff development strategies in coordination with HR.
Ensure centers are adequately staffed and staff schedules are optimized to support service delivery.
Oversee planning and execution of center and service-wide events and engagement initiatives.
Maintain effective communication with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
Foster a culture of collaboration and responsiveness across all centers.
Prepare and present regular operational reports and insights to senior leadership.
Oversee center budgets, financial planning, and expense management to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Review and approve major purchase requests, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
Ensure all center facilities are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational.
Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for timely repairs, upgrades, and compliance with safety regulations.
Bachelor's Degree in any field
Trained in Specialist Diploma in Early Intervention (Special Needs) and familiar with Early Intervention settings is an advantage.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in operations, with at least 3 years in leadership role.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
Proven track record in performance management, process improvement, and cross-functional team leadership.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
Proficiency in operational software, MS Office tools, and reporting systems.
