Job summary

National University of Singapore's Business School Executive Education seeks a Senior Manager (Business Development & Client Relationships) for Customised Executive Programmes at Kent Ridge Campus. You will grow corporate and public sector accounts across Asia Pacific, building trusted relationships with C-suite sponsors and HR leaders.

This role requires a strong track record in business development or key accounts in professional services, with willingness to travel regionally and globally,

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree and 6–10 years of experience in business development, key account management, or client-facing consulting, ideally with exposure to the Asia Pacific region.
  • A track record of winning and growing strategic accounts — whether in executive education, leadership development, management consulting, or another professional services environment.
  • Genuine business acumen: you can hold a credible conversation with a CFO or CHRO about their organisation's strategic priorities, not just propose a programme.
  • Strong relationship-management instincts — trust built through being knowledgeable and communicating consistently.
  • Comfort and confidence working across cultures and seniority levels, including in markets outside Singapore.
  • A mature, collaborative approach to problem-solving — sound judgement under pressure, and the ability to work constructively with colleagues and clients to resolve issues.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Asia Pacific region and globally.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, win, and grow corporate and public sector accounts for customised executive programmes across target markets in Asia Pacific and beyond.
  • Build and sustain relationships at multiple levels of an organisation — from C-suite sponsors to L&D and HR decision-makers — turning first conversations into long-term partnerships.
  • Consult with senior leaders on their business challenges and work closely with NUS faculty to co-create programmes that deliver real organisational impact.
  • Craft compelling, well-researched proposals and presentations that draw on NUS thought leadership and faculty expertise.
  • Partner with NUS Programme Directors to oversee programmes from design through delivery and debrief, ensuring the rigour of the design carries through to delivery.
  • Stay close to industry and L&D trends, acting as a trusted advisor rather than a vendor.

NUS Business School Executive Education designs programmes that build leadership and organisational capability, working closely with clients across Asia Pacific and globally to translate their strategic priorities into impactful, faculty-led learning. Our Customised Executive Programmes team partners with C-suite leaders, CHROs, and Heads of L&D throughout this process.
