Job Summary

The role is responsible for driving business growth and client acquisition within the Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO/CMO) sector. It involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and supporting revenue generation through strategic engagement and proposal management.

The position works closely with key account managers and operations teams to develop tailored service offerings, prepare proposals and quotations, and ensure seamless execution of client projects. It also involves continuous market monitoring to identify trends, enhance service offerings, and strengthen the company’s market position.

Key Focus Areas
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with potential clients in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Develop sales strategies, performance metrics, and proposals aligned with company goals.
  • Build strong client relationships and coordinate facility visits and presentations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate quotations, timely proposal submissions, and successful contract execution.
  • Monitor market trends and support the development of new solutions to meet client needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum 6–8 years of business development or sales experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry, preferably with CDMO/CMO experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with proven ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships.
  • Commercially astute, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel and engage clients across markets.
